Are You Set?

This season is set partners for Men's Doubles. Matches are 3 games, rally, first to 21 points with one switch when the first team reaches 11 (unless a haboob comes through). Blocks will be counted as a touch and hand-setting calls will be enforced by new league director Lionel Daniel. The Sand Club rule is the ball may rotate no more than 1 rotation in any one direction. This is still a players league, so even though rules will be enforced by Mr. Lionel you can expect him to be chill about it.

Players are encouraged to call Allen (480-560-5090) before 4p and Lionel (480-335-7115) after 4p if you are running late. Any games that start more than 10 minutes after scheduled times are subject to forfeit or point reductions. One substitution is all good but a team will forfeit the game if there is 2 substitutions. Out of respect for the players, please be responsible for finding substitutions even if both players are not able to play--everyone comes to play and nothing is worse than showing up after a long days work and not able to play one of the best sports in the universe.

Congrats to Ryan Winsauer (photo above) for winning last season Division 1 Round Robin Men's 2's Tournament and Christian Millhiser for winning Division 2. League Champions will receive The Sand Club bracelet and Tournament Champions will receive 50% off the next season. Enjoy your season and the beautiful Mark Taylor community, San Palacio.

San Palacio RULES:
1.) NO DOGS.
2.) NO BOTTLES.
3.) NO STEREO.
4.) Players may only use the facility on Monday's unless accompanied by a resident.
5.) Players may use the pool/spa only after washing off but please be considerate of residents that want to use the spa. That is, avoid large groups in the spa, which will distract residents from using their own amenities.
